Christina Aguilera cancela su gira americana de presentación de "Bionic"
El portavoz de Christina Aguilera ha anunciado hoy mismo que la gira de presentación de su nuevo álbum, que estaba programada para este mismo verano en Norteamérica, se cancela finalmente.

El motivo de este aplazamiento tiene que ver con el deseo de la cantante de tener un show más preparado ya que con la promoción del álbum y su participación en la película ‘Burlesque’ no iba a tener demasiado tiempo de ensayar los temas del concierto.

Esta noticia coincide con la filtración del último trabajo discográfico de la cantante que ya se puede escuchar por Internet desde hace unos días.

Este álbum ha provocado todo tipo de opiniones, desde lo que piensan que es un álbum demasiado heterogéneo a los que consideran que Christina ha vuelto a superarse.

Christina Aguilera's summer tour has been postponed to 2011 because she does not have time to rehearse for it amid commitments to her first film, Burlesque and to the promotion of new album Bionic.

Meanwhile, the Grammy-winning artist is set to appear on the finale of American Idol on Wednesday, according to Aguilera's official Web site.

Those who had purchased tickets to Aguilera's planned summer concerts will be able to receive a refund, her spokesperson said, adding: "The singer felt she needed more time to rehearse the show and with less than a month between the album release and tour date this wasn’t possible. New dates will be announced later this year."

Bionic is due for release on June 8. Two days earlier, she is set to appear at the MTV Movie Awards. Her film Burlesque, which stars Kristen Bell and Eric Dane, hits theaters on November 24.

Aguilera's first scheduled summer concert was to take place at Uncasville, Connecticut on July 15 and her tour was set to end on August 19 in Irvine, California. Etiquetas: Christina Aguilera
