Katy Perry insiste que Miley Cyrus es la nueva Britney
Luego de que Katy Perry viera a la nueva sensación pop Miley Cyrus interpretar su más reciente exitoso corte, 'Cab't Be Tamed', no le quedaron dudas que sigue los pasos 'a la Spears'.

Perry no se impresiona con los cambios que intenta dar la estrella de "Hannah Montana". Cuando la cantante de 'I Kissed a Girl' observó detenidamente a Cyrus tras bastidores en la ceremonia de los premios MuchMusic Video Awards, ella inmediatamente le susurro a uno de sus amigos que Miley seguriría los pasos de Britney Spears.

"Dios mio, pobre chica", acotó Katy para la revista Life & Style en medio de una entrevista. "Ella es, de a ratos, la nueva Britney Spears. Esta sucediendo frente a nuestros ojos". Cuando se le intento preguntar si los pasos a seguir sería al igual que Lindsay Lohan, ella respondio: "No, definitivamente sigue los pasos de Britney".

Watching Miley Cyrus at MuchMusic Video Awards has made Katy Perry think that the 'Can't Be Tamed' singer 'definitely headed the Britney route.

Katy Perry is not impressed with Miley Cyrus' moves to change her clean-cut "Hannah Montana" image to a raunchy one. When the 'I Kissed a Girl' hitmaker saw the Disney songstress backstage at MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto last month, she immediately told a friend that Miley would follow the footsteps of Britney Spears.

"Oh my God, poor girl", Katy said as quoted by Life & Style Magazine. "She's Britney Spears all over again. It's happening right before our eyes". When her friend asked if she meant Lindsay Lohan, she answered, "No, she's definitely headed the Britney route. It's worse. Look at those outfits. It's bad".

Unlike Katy Perry however, Dolly Parton previously defended Miley Cyrus. She is adamant that Miley is just going through a rebellious phase and she shouldn't be judged too harshly. "I've known her since she was a baby. I hate it when people criticize her", she said. "She is a great singer; she has a great voice. She's a great little entertainer and she can speak to you like she is 50 years old. She'll land in the right place. I really know she has everything it takes.
