Travie McCoy responds to Katy Perry’s 'Circle The Drain'

Travie McCoy has responded to a song written by ex-girlfriend Katy Perry about their relationship.

The song 'Circle The Drain' features on the singer’s new album "Teenage Dream" and details McCoy’s past addiction to prescription drugs, a struggle which he has since overcome.

Speaking to MTV News, he said: “I heard she put out a song that’s about me, or about some old habits or whatever. “[And] I look at it like this – I’m just stoked that she finally has a song with some substance on her record. Good job.”
